UKRAINE: A glimpse into Kiev.

Description: This short break will not only introduce you to the gems of Ukraine’s capital Kyiv (the local name of Kiev), but will take you beyond the typical tourist routes and show you some inspiring examples of sustainable living in Ukraine. You’ll get to enjoy UNESCO-listed St. Sophia Cathedral and St. Andrew’s Descent, and explore some off-the-beaten track attractions as Sculpture Alley. A trip to National Chernobyl Museum will be an eye-opening experience that will tell you more about the greatest eco-disaster of XX century. You’ll visit a family-owned organic farm and learn how sustainable agriculture brings positive impact to local community. Also, you’ll have a chance to experience the simple life of rural Ukrainians with a day at a local village: a day full of home-grown food, horse cart rides, and hordes of chicken in the backyard.

Family Holiday on the Countryside in Ukraine.
Location: Ukraine, Khutir Khajenky. About 2,5 hours (15 km) from Kiev.

Suitable for: Families with children between 1 - 6 years old.
Description: Spend a relaxing week in Ukrainian countryside. Venture 150 km away from the capital Kyiv and enjoy your stay in Green House village. Gorgeous nature of Ukrainian north, trips to the fields and the farm, master classes in traditional crafts, delicious home-grown food and plenty of time to rest and rejuvenate. You will feel that you went back in time Ð when the life was simple, food was good, and days full of nature.
Spend a week in Ukrainian countryside, in wooden houses with spacious yards, nearby forest and river. Take walks in Ichnyansky National Park and enjoy the fresh summer breeze in the nature or take relaxing walk in beautiful Kachanivka park. Ride in a boat along Ichnyanka river. Visit the local farm, see farm animals and learn where your food comes from, take a walk in the fields among barley and wheat. Learn traditional Ukrainian craft and engage your kids in a fun afternoon activity. Spend quite and relaxing days in Green House village, with barbeques, plenty of playtime and calm evenings.

Christmas festival in Ukraine.

Description: Do you want to experience something really special? Extend Christmas and
join us for a different kind of Christmas celebration in heartwarming and charming Ukraine!
In Ukraine Christmas is celebrated in January, without Santa Claus, Christmas trees or gifts
but with old symbolic Christmas traditions. Experience Christmas with a local family, with a
Christmas dinner consisting of 12 traditional dishes (!), magical candle lit atmosphere,
Christmas carols and vertep (street performances).
We visit Lviv, a cozy and romantic city with a historic center that is on UNESCO's World
Heritage List. Here you can immerse yourself in the daily life of the locals, eat borshch
(beet root soup) with them and enjoy a pleasant stay in a family pension. This trip makes a
positive contribution to the community through collaboration with local artisans, meals at
locally-owned restaurants and interaction with the locals. A cultural experience not to be
missed!

world’s worst nuclear accident. Pripyat, the town closest to the reactor (3 kilometers distance),
was home to 49,000 residents before the disaster, mostly the families of the plant workers; now no one lives there, a ghost town.
The next couple of days,learn more about the environment and pristine nature of
Europe’s last marshlands in Mizhrichynsky National Park. Enjoy a short briefing on the
environmental challenges of the park from our specialist guide and walk along the beautiful scenery of the park – full of rare birds and plants.
Spend your day in the tranquility of Ukrainian village, on the river Desna. Go fishing, or swimming in the slow waters of Desna.

Europe. Take a walk in the pristine nature surrounding with Reserve’s nature specialist, and enjoy discovering the abundant wildlife in this true
off-the-beaten track.
