Yoga Trekking in the Mountains, Nepal

Description: Experience eight days of trekking in the mountains of Nepal, where yoga is a natural part of the experience. Learn more about yoga practice in Nepal, which combines astrology, ayurveda, work ethics and health. The trek also includes two days at 4300 meters besides Lake Gosainkunda, a mountain lake said to be one of the abodes of Shiva, the greatest Yogi of them all. We recommend you spend a few extra days in Nepal after the trek. We can help you tailor your trip. Proposed activities in Kathmandu may be pottery courses, the Heritage Trail in Kathmandu, "cook like a local" or visit an organic farm. Alternatively, stay in the UNESCO town of Bhaktapur and see the city rise to life the next day. Or go on a three-day trip to Chitwan National Park and go on a jungle safari.

A Responsible Peek into Nepal

An ethical travel to hotspots in Nepal

Vision For All: Trip to Nepal

Included: Accommodation, meals as described in the itinerary, transport in Nepal, local Engelsk speaking guide, organisation of the eye clinic, return flight Oslo - Kathmandu.
Description: Do you dream about traveling to Nepal? ... and maybe do something meaningful on your trip? Along with Vision For All Norway we arrange a project trip to Nepal. We set up mobile eye clinics in rural Nepal, and give people who are not able to get his/her vision checked by optometrists the opportunity to do so. With us on the trip are opticians (are you an optician who would like to join us?) and assistants. YOU have the opportunity to participate as assistant (no experience required)! The journey is planned so that we have three-day working sessions in two different villages. Between these two work sessions we visit Chitwan National Park. Extended stay in Nepal is possible.

Description: A hike with the rescued donkeys would help you to know about the donkeys found in Nepal and how they are treated. Rafting in Kali Gandaki

Description: Named after the Hindu goddess of destruction, Kali, the river rises in Mustang, on the northern side of the Himalaya. As it tumbles down between the majestic Daulagiri and the Annapurna ranges, it creates one of the world's deepest river canyons. The Kali Gandaki is a terrific medium length river journey, combining great whitewater with some of the prettiest scenery in Nepal, seldom-visited villages, truly quiet and introspective evenings, abundant wildlife, sandy beaches and outrageously beautiful waterfalls. Tamang Heritage Trail

Description: About 150 years ago, Nepal fought Tibet over salt, and some of the biggest areas where this war took place were in the Langtang Region of Nepal.
