• Village delight and island paradise

Then head 60km offshore to the Surin Islands to find spectacular coral reefs, a traditional Moken (sea gypsy) village, and sleep in a comfortable beach tent under the starry sky. Can you ask for more?

This experience starts off in Kuraburi, the “hub” for our experiences along the Andaman coast. From here take go to a nearby village by boat through the winding mangrove canals. Stay with a local family in the village and experience their way of living. Do village and beach walks, to the rubber plantations and fruit orchids, before a mouth-watering traditional Thai style lunch is served…

Treasure in the soil, wealth in the water" is a traditional Thai saying particularly relevant to the people of Tung Nang Dam…

The second part of this journey is to the turquoise bays of Surin Island. This is a paradise of fine white sandy beaches, thick jungle, crystal-clear waters, and extensive coral reefs. Koh Surin is home of the Moken Sea Gypsies. You will get to know more of their history and traditional lifestyle.

Hop aboard a long-tail boat and head out for some marine exploration. Snorkelling is highly recommended in the crystal-clear sea! Overnight in a tent on the beach and fall asleep to the gentle sounds of the waves as they lap the beautiful white sands…
